Our Theme this year is Armchair Travel
We did our best to continue with Page Turners during the pandemic, with librarians and students engaging in all sorts of ingeniously creative ways to meet virtually and share views and opinions on the books, despite the difficulties of lockdowns, school closures, restrictions and bubbles! Students read, chatted, contributed reviews, made creative responses and generally enjoyed some escapism with our theme of ‘Armchair Travel’.
As we were unable to hold our customary Gala Celebration Evening we embraced technology and reached out to our shortlisted authors all around the world to create a special Celebration video! Many of the wonderful authors generously gave their time to record or send us their answers to questions posed by our students, which you can enjoy by watching the video here:”
