This year’s theme is From Page to Screen
2020 Awards Ceremony
Unfortunately we had to cancel this year’s celebration evening but luckily we got the votes in just before we all went into lockdown! We are delighted to announce that the winning titles this year were Northern Lights in the Teen category and The Book Thief in the Young Adult. The count was very close for the Teen award with The Giver coming in just 2 votes behind Northern Lights! The librarians of the SESTBA committee would like to thank all participating students for their enthusiasm, commitment and the passionate discussions which have taken place this year, let’s hope that 2021 will see us back celebrating the joy of reading at our Gala as we should be!
